About the Role

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and student-centric Mathematics Faculty (TGT) for Classes VI–VIII. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to make Mathematics engaging, practical, and concept-driven. The teacher will be responsible for fostering logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities among students while ensuring academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Academic Delivery
Teach Mathematics to Classes VI–VIII as per CBSE curriculum standards.
Plan and deliver engaging, interactive, and concept-based lessons.
Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and learning materials.
Use activity-based, experiential, and technology-enabled teaching methodologies.
Promote logical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students.
Student Assessment & Progress Monitoring
Conduct regular assessments, quizzes, tests, and examinations.
Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.
Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support to struggling students.
Offer enrichment opportunities to high-performing students.
Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic progress.
Classroom Management
Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Encourage active participation and collaborative learning.
Ensure student safety and well-being during classroom activities.
Foster confidence and reduce mathematics anxiety among learners.
Curriculum & Academic Development
Prepare question papers, answer keys, and assessment rubrics.
Contribute to curriculum planning and academic improvement initiatives.
Integrate real-life applications of mathematics into classroom teaching.
Prepare students for Olympiads, quizzes, and competitive examinations at the middle-school level.
Collaboration & Professional Development
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and training programs.
Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary learning and academic planning.
Stay updated with modern teaching practices and CBSE guidelines.
Support school events, student activities, and institutional initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics (B.Sc./B.A. Mathematics).
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) – Mandatory.
CTET/TET qualification preferred.
Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum and pedagogy.
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in Mathematics for Classes VI–VIII.
Experience in CBSE-affiliated schools or reputed coaching institutes preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong command over Mathematics concepts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Classroom management and student engagement abilities.
Proficiency in Smart Boards, Digital Learning Platforms, and MS Office.
Ability to simplify complex concepts through practical examples.
